Nodus Sinuatrialis

Captured the core of the Heart Nebula (Melotte 15) in SHO during several nights of testing the Primaluce Lab Sesto Senso 3 SC focuser on my C8 HD.

This was also my first project using the Antlia 2.5 nm SHO filters.

The goal was simple: collect data while getting a feel for the new focuser. Most of the exposure time came from multiple short, inconsistent sessions with clouds moving in and out, so this was very much a “use whatever the sky gives me” type of capture.
