Two Swans and an Eagle

This is comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) crossing the dense star fields of the Milky Way, right between the Eagle Nebula and the Swan Nebula.

Its tail has mostly faded as it moves away from the Sun, all that's left is a compact coma around the nucleus of the comet.

I happened to take this last night while testing a new camera - I’ll share a bit more about it soon.
