We had the chance to witness a partial lunar eclipse this week. While a partial eclipse does not paint our satellite into a “blood moon”, it’s still a very interesting phenomenon to observe.What I did here is I superimposed shots of the Moon I took 5 minutes apart, adjusting for the Moon’s own movement, and as a result it drew out where exactly the shadow circle of our Earth is.Notice the reddish hue? That’s sunlight passing through the atmosphere, turning it red. Much like watching a sunset right at the horizon.
