Perseus Molecular Cloud

I’ve been wanting to photograph the Perseus Molecular Cloud for a while, so I focused on the area around the Embryo Nebula. I spent two nights under the dark skies of the Swiss mountains collecting data with a color camera.Processing was fairly straightforward—my goal was to highlight the faint dust without pushing the colors too far. The warm tones of the cloud and the delicate details of the nebula came through nicely, framed by the stars scattered across the field.I kept the composition simple, centering on the Embryo Nebula while letting the surrounding dust add depth to the scene. It’s always exciting to see such a fascinating region come together with just the right balance of detail and color!
