The Cygnus Wall
The Swan Lake: Where Stars are Born Located within the constellation if Cygnus (the Swan), meet the Cygnus Wall region of the North America Nebula. A dense region ablaze with glowing hydrogen gas that would paint the night sky red if seen by our naked eyes. Over three nights from my balcony, I aimed 2 telescopes at this extremely exciting region of space. Using my narrowband filters, I captured intricate details of the hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur present. In my opinion, the dark dust clouds make this photo look so deep, almost three-dimensional, don't they?
