Happy Winter Solstice!

Happy Winter Solstice! Six months ago I installed a pinhole camera on my balcony and pointed the pinhole towards the south. I left it out there to expose for 6 whole months and record the path of our sun across the sky - from its uppermost position during the June solstice all the way down to the lowermost position in December. In addition to the Sun, you may also see my neighbors' balcony on the right and the lake of Lugano with the surrounding mountains in the lower part of the image. I will definitely do this again, next time pointing the camera a bit more upwards to also capture the summer sun entirely.
