NEAIC has been a blast! I opened up the conference with a talk on what makes an astrophoto good, then later on I also did one on smart telescopes. I also took the opportunity to listen to some real interesting presentations by different experts in the field. I then had a chance to have dinner with NASA astronaut Don Pettit and he gifted me this mind-blowing photo he took from the ISS: it shows the lights of cities shooting through the field of view with a bunch of lightning flashes visible all over. The star trails shown are actually formed around the space station’s own rotational axis! Now on to NEAF!
