EAA Under The Full Moon? I have had good fortune using the Antlia Quad band Filter on my Celestron C6 + Hyperstar and my SvBony 605cc camera (imx 533).
a fantastic image from a great place to image from
I would love to see a video on how those 2.5nm filters do on Rigel, which other filters have had a lot of trouble with, particularly OIII. Also one on how it does on faster scopes with wavelength shift.
Another great image, thank you for sharing your workflow and result!
Fantastic location in the mountains and great result at the end. Great work, great result💯✨
Luca, what seeing do you have in this session?
On average it’s around 2”
@the_space_koala With this oversampling, do yo get more details in your C11 as in a C8 or similar?. I ask because I have a APO 5", have similar seeing to you, and I'm thinking of buying a reflector. I was considering a C9.25 edge, but aside lucky imaging and visual, I don't see how I can get better images than with a light C8 edge.
You did a wonderful job!
thank you!
Hi! I have two smart telescopes: a Seestar S30, and a 2nd. generation Edusnap [53mm]. I have used both of these during the full moon.. with great results! I was concerned before I tried.. but both 'scopes worked great! I also was imaging objects that were not close to the moon as well. I love Switzerland! I wish I could enjoy the skies there.. I live out in the Arizona desert - Bortle 3-4 - and on a property [rental units].. with too many lights at night. Still the only time this affects my viewing/imaging, is if an object is too close to any of the lights on the homes here. My town is surrounded by mountains.. and that blocks most of the sky glow from Phoenix.. I do enjoy your wonderful videos! Clear skies, Koala!!
wow living in a bortle 3-4 is an absolute dream! The place I shoot these videos is a Bortle 4 and I have to drive 1.5 hours from my house to get there!
Wow! Phenomenal info and astro work!
Wonderful as always - Irish skies suck in comparison though
Ps I did the same moon x image a while back 😉
Hi Luca, Stretching with STF? 😢 I’m pretty sure you should use GHS… however the image is awesome! Best wishes from Cat Astro
For an astronomer, Swiss night skies are gold ! ;o)
Nah, you have to clean the corrector! Isopropyl alcohol 50-50 with distilled water. Coatings are pretty tough, unlikely to scratch.
Hello, I love your channel and have been following you for awhile. You shocked me. You should not be afraid of cleaning your corrector at all. Follow Rod Mollise’s advice, and he’s the god of SCTs, and delicately clean it using original Windex, spraying it on Kleenex and only rubbing once. Totally easy and streak free. I have done it several times and it has not deteriorated the coatings at all…and I am one really picky OCD guy!
you're right and multiple people have pointed this out. Thing is, this has virtually zero impact on my images but I'll get to it eventually :)
Really learning a lot from your videos 👍
I think the spelling "soul" should be "sole" because it looks like a shoe print.
Amazing result !
I'm jeolous.
Someone recommended Manifest the Divine by Elena River in a comment section and I’m so glad I listened. This book doesn’t sugarcoat anything. It just tells you what actually works. My whole mindset is different now.
