I had such an amazing time at NEAF, my first time and spend 9 hrs walking around and meeting people. I was happy to meet you as well and snap some selfies with other Youtubers. I think the solar scopes with the red HA filters absolutely blew my mind. Definitely going next year.
Bummer, I always get these notices months after they happen even though I’me a subscriber with “see all” posts enabled. I wish I had more advanced notice to plan a trip. Anyways I hope your talk is shared especially since I just learned about the importance of focal ratio, but learned of cost of speedy scopes and struggles using them.
@the_space_koala We do not unfortunately. Our Observatory (Martz-Kohl Observatory. We have a Facebook and webpage to check out if you would care to.) is located just outside the town of Frewsburg NY which is a couple miles from the NY/PA State line. Our main imaging scopes are a built in house 24" SC, a 16"carbon tube RC and a Takahashi refractor. For visual we have a 20" and a 12" and number of other miscellaneous scopes. If you are ever in our area and would like a tour please feel free to let me know and we will make that happen.
@the_space_koala Read your bio on NEAIC website. Wow, smart and Hungarian. I married one, together 54 years. Kiffles, my favorite. Will your presentations be recorded?
It figures. I have hernia surgery scheduled. I would have loved to meet you in person and say hello. I hope you have some free time to get to enjoy New York City. As a lifelong New Yorker, I’m always hopeful that visitors can take in all we have to offer here.
Have a safe trip, Keith.

wow that's some nice gear - I hope I'll get to visit you guys someday!
Enjoy your visit. Get some rest during your internal clock. Stay safe. Clear sky's? Doesn’t look like it!!!
Thanks John. No clear skies but I don’t even mind - I wasn’t able to bring my equipment anyway haha
