Thanks!
thank you! glad you enjoyed it
I know I’m a bit late to the party but if you had to choose which one would you prefer? The Dwarf mini or Seester s30 ? One creator commented that the Dwarf Mini has a I/F filer so daytime photos have a red tone to them , I’m not sure how true that is ..
I think that is kind of an unfair comparison as the 2 instruments are in different price ranges. I would personally choose the S30 Pro if the price is not an issue.
Have a 102, 11inch. Origin 2 and now Mini. I test all on MGC 5529. The mini did it pretty well from opening the box to done stacking in 35 minutes. In a high light pollution area. IMPRESSED!!!
not a fan of the app, EQ mode is "hidden" in a tiny "..." menu and the feedback is not as good a ZWO EQ alignment, and I could not get the scheduler to display the live stack while executing... overall I'm pretty much unimpressed with the APPs UI... 💩
Hi Luca. I use the Manfrotto XPro geared head to ‘dial in” Perfect Alignment on the Mini. This unlocks 180 second exposures.
awesome, thanks for the recommendation
@the_space_koala This was a beautiful night in Chicago. Cold, dark and the Pleiades and the moon near each other. Hope all is well.
Looks like a viable option particularly at the price range. I have a high end camera tripod so I have that covered and as the for the carrying case i have backpacks and bags that I have accumulated over the years.
Bonjour, vous êtes dans les Alpes tessinoises ?
yes!
@the_space_koala magnifique région
Thank you Lissa for the efforts you did for making this video. The mini won't be something for me. May be something for my grand son when he's a bit older.
What model is the wedge you are using? Looks good!
It’s the MSM one - linked in the description!
Lot of comparisons to the s30 pro but to me they don’t seem to be the same market. Tthe s30 pro is nearly double the price in my country so comparing them yea the s30 pro will be better in a lot of ways but you’re paying for those improvements. Regular s30 is the better like for like comparison
I fully agree
Need a comparison of s30pro and this. But in a sense if one watch both from you it is already had.
Solar filter need cleaning ;)
Luca I have watched your video's on the mini, S30, S30 Pro and S50. I but can't buy them all to decide. Which of these 4 would be the best bet (in your opinion)? I'm not a beginner, but want a take everywhere imaging scope. Thank you
out of these 4, the S30 makes the least sense now. between the rest: The mini is by far the cheapest so if price is a factor that could be it. If you're not price sensitive the S30 Pro is far better in image quality. The S30 is a different category, it's better if you want to do Moon/Sun shots or smaller objects. Sorry I cannot / won't give you a straight answer as it really depends on your use case. If you truly want to take it *everywhere* the S30 is a lot more portable than the S50 (which is still small btw)
@the_space_koala Understand your position on these and really leaning towards the S30 Pro. Thank you for your response and the video's you make.
dwarf mini is auto focusing 1 question my second question is does it also follow what we say like the dwarf3
I don’t quite understand what you mean by following what you say
can we have a comparison video between s30 pro and dwarf mini
The Dwarf mini will be my first smart telescope, maybe in the future, I'll get a s30 pro😊
Very tempting…but I just saw a promo for the S30 Pro. Now I will have to,wait for you to compare both!
I am waiting till the s30 pro Comes on the market and Will perform , and what it Will Cost. As i am in doubt to bij the dwarf3 or s50 or s30 pro
That's pretty cool you can see quite a lot with it, sunspots stars anything. Andromeda looked great - a whole other galaxy...wow🤔👍
I can take pretty good pictures with a barn door tracker I made. It takes a little time to get good at but it’s only 30 some dollars. Thanks for your videos!
