Hi Luca, this is the first time I have seen or heard someone doing this. How did you plan for the event. Did you use an app or an online too? THU.

there are people out there doing multiple of these events per night! There is a website called Occultwatcher, as well as the corresponding Windows application that lets you see events visible from your location. Maybe I should do an updated video with better instructions, this is real old :D

@the@the_space_koalawatch all of your videos and just catching up on the older ones that were uploaded before I found your channel 😊. I’ll have to try it now that I am aware of it. Weather where I am is not often clear so I do some spectroscopy and other things to fill in the gaps when the sky is just patchy. Please keep up the posts as they are really high quality and always enjoyable.

I was visiting a friend in Tucson and an asteroid occultation was due. He set up a scope for me, and was working on one for himself, when I saw the star blink out. I was a little embarrassed that he missed it on my account.

Please stop moving forwards and backwards in videos. I know you don't do it on purpose, but it's a bit distracting and makes me feeling sick. However I like your videos, keep going :)

Thank you for saying that! I do these occultations with a local work group periodically and I always find so much joy in the star turning off 😁 good luck to you!

Hey I just was using the bathroom and I was looking at the sky and i saw this bright light in the sky and it wasn't moving like at all and I thought nothing of it so I stopped looking at it like 20 seconds later I look back it's the same nothing out of place so I look away again then I look back and it's just completely gone like no light trace of it or anything and I flipped out like what is this can someone tell me pls
