hahaha I love all telescopes including the smart ones :) I use them for a lot of content on here as they’re the best instrument to get new people into our hobby

wow reminds me of montana, love your seestar set up, what do you recommmend for a tripod sturdy for the EQ mode and skywatcher mount and leveler, for the 50 which is a lot heavier, i have a small rig CT 20 and wonder if that’s safe for my smartscope

I've been using these 2 for the most part: https://amzn.to/4kTTZ5P , https://amzn.to/4bZMxlr . Unless your tripod is wobbly, I wouldn't necessarily say you have to purchase a new tripod - just try and see!

Killing me, my 24 inch telescope was stolen 20 years ago still can't afford to replace it and life has led me far from my skyromance

I live about 20 ft above sea level and always enjoy seeing your backyard view.

Don’t I wish this was my back yard! I live in the city and go to the mountains for my scope sessions

@the_space_koala  I've seen your balcony views. Not bad but you're right, this out of town view is breathtaking. Have you checked the bortle at this place? My guess is maybe 2 or 3.

It’s not a pass, this is just above Leontica, at the bottom of the ski lift of Nara
