It's been about a year since I saw this video and you for the first time. My S50 was just ordered or maybe just arrived. Interesting that some of the "secret" features to date have not yet been implemented. Specifically, dithering and the temps got my attention. I wonder why they didn't go into production.
It makes me wonder how many other secret features are currently in the making 😁
How do I enable mosaic mode on my seestar please?
currently you need to be part of the beta tester program. Once it rolls out it will be part of the regular app
Update the app. It's publically released and it's an ineffiencent waste of time for anyone that actually processes their images
Thanks for your excellent videos... The SeeStar jumpstarted my AP adventure. Since the Dwarf 3 has much improved auto AP with a better sensor and EQ, maybe ZWO will catch up with an evolved version. Regards, Michael
I think they will do it eventually. So many users are asking for the EQ mode they’ll be pressured into implementing it 😁😁

Those extra functions is probably something that will be reactivated in the future and pass it off as the Seestar S50-2 and charge more for it.

I got my S50, but don't see some of those functions in the App
I think they blocked the advanced mode after I posted it as it was meant to stay hidden...
I would like to be free to choose if doing "Dithering" or not! :-(
First try the hidden functions until you know the meanings, then make your video. Good idea?

From the videos I’ve seen, even though the firmware numbers indicate, it is a final version, this menu is probably just like cheat code as they continue developing the app. I take it as a very good sign! It’s becoming a more professional camera!
Grrr ... Is it possible to downgrade firmware? I am now on 1.91 & this function is disabled !!! Thanbks in advance for any tips.
